Course aims 

By the end of Risk Assessment Training participants will: 

• Be able to identify common workplace hazards, including hard-to-detect hazards like dust and vibrations. 
• Understand the purpose of risk assessments and know the different types of risk assessments. 
• Recognise the importance of competence in carrying out a risk assessment and know what makes a competent assessor. 
• Be able to measure risks by assessing likelihood and consequence, facilitating better decision making and efficient resource allocation. 
• Understand the reasons for health surveillance in risk assessments and what is involved.

How is it delivered?

Risk Assessment Training is delivered online or through a computer network to each trainee at their desktop, laptop or mobile device.  

We can also provide the course to be integrated into a SCORM compliant LMS.  

Training can be completed at the employee’s own pace by “bookmarking” and recording progress and returning to the training later.
