- Premises used for a purpose listed in the Bill (such as entertainment and leisure).
- Any venue with a capacity of 100 people or more.
- Temporary events that have express permission to enter and a capacity of 800 or more individuals.

The story behind Martyn’s Law. The objectives of this new legislation. What types of organisations will be impacted by Martyn’s Law and what is meant by publicly accessible locations (PALs).
2. Requirements and protective measures
Preparations organisations can make to be ready for Martyn’s Law and how compliance will be measured.
Adopting a risk assessment-orientated approach and establishing an incident response plan.
Protective measures that can be taken including physical security enhancements, employee training, access control and cyber security.
What actions to take following a terrorist event.
3. What is terrorism?
Definition of terrorism under the Terrorism Act 2000 with examples of terror attacks.
