Fire Safety Manager

I joined Praxis42 in 2009 as a Health and Safety advisor. My background is quite varied as I gained my degree at Huddersfield University when I also completed a work placement in the Health and Safety department of a pharmaceutical company. I then became a Senior Science Technician at a school, QA and Technical Assistant at a plastic manufacturing company and I have also worked at a previous Health and Safety consultancy.

My pet westie is called Chalkie, he has an attitude.

Hannah is our Head Office Ninja, she joined us in 2010 and has been likened to Wonder Woman for her superpowers in cake making, juggling 10 things at once without dropping anything and managing to have the last word with Tom Paxman (a feat no others have matched!)

Fire, Health and Safety Assessor

I joined the Praxis42 team at the start of 2018 as a Regional Health and Safety Adviser, covering the South region. My background is in Health, Safety, Facilities, and Personnel Management. Over the years, I have been lucky enough to work across various different fields including warehousing, logistics, education and retail in either a managerial or consultancy role.

I am also a qualified Personal Trainer & Gym Instructor and like to put these skills to practice in my spare time.

I joined Praxis42 in February 2018 as one of a team of health and safety advisors. I very much enjoy my role of visiting pubs, carrying out risk assessments and providing help and advice.

Outside of work I enjoy attending music festivals, photography and running.

I love animals, especially dogs and I’m lucky to be able to look after my friend’s lovely 6-year-old boxer called Benson, who I thoroughly spoil with lots of fusses and treats.

Senior Fire, Health and Safety Assessor

I joined the Praxis42 team in October 2011 as a Health and Safety Adviser covering the Yorkshire area. I have a degree in Environmental Health and in the past I’ve worked for Leeds City Council and ITV. I am an avid animal lover and adore my 2 dogs – Maggie, a Labradoodle, and Ralph, our Great Dane.

Fire, Health and Safety Consultant

I joined Praxis42 Ltd in June 2017 as a Health and Safety Advisor. My background is in engineering and more recently Health and Safety. I served as a Weapons Technician in the RAF for 24 years, maintaining aircraft and their associated weapons. I then worked briefly for the MOD and moved on to work for BAE Systems as a Technical Author. In 2013, I moved to Jersey to take up a role as a Health and Safety Inspector, working for the State of Jersey’s Health and Safety Inspectorate (the equivalent of the HSE in the UK).

I moved back to the UK in 2017 to see more of my grandson. As for pets, I have a few cold-water fish and squirrel which visits my garden daily to raid my bird feeder, who is ‘affectionately’ called Nuts.
