What the legal limits are for maximum exposure to noise in a working day and across a working week.
Risk assessment
The aims of a noise risk assessment and who should complete a noise risk assessment.
What information, instruction and training employers must provide for workers.
Control the noise
The steps employers must follow to control noise in the workplace and what each step involves in practice.
Personal protection equipment (PPE)
Emphasising that PPE is the last line of defence and that other controls should be considered first.

At the end of the noise awareness course there are 10 multiple choice questions to answer, and the pass mark is 80%.

How is it delivered?
Noise Awareness Training is delivered online or through a computer network to each trainee at their desktop, laptop or mobile device.
