IATP Asbestos Awareness
Our IATP Asbestos Awareness Course, available online or face-to-face, provides essential employee training under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
The regulations require employers to ensure that training is provided regularly and covers the procedures, risks, types of materials, and legal responsibilities associated with asbestos exposure. At Praxis42, we can tailor asbestos training to your sector and employeesโ roles.
Asbestos causes most work-related deaths in Great Britain, with around 5,000 people dying each year from related diseases such as mesothelioma, lung cancer and asbestosis. Any building constructed or refurbished before 2000 may contain asbestos-containing materials (ACMs).
