Abrasive Wheels FAQs
Do I need abrasive wheels training if I already have years of experience using them?
Yes, even experienced operators benefit from formal training to ensure they are up to date with the latest safety practices and legal requirements. Accidents can still occur due to complacency or outdated knowledge, so this training helps reinforce safe techniques and compliance with regulations.

Participants who don’t pass the assessment on their first attempt can review the course material and retake the assessment. The course is designed to support learning, with interactive elements and quizzes to reinforce understanding throughout.
Is online abrasive wheels training as effective as in-person training?
Our online course is designed to complement practical, hands-on training. It covers the safe handling, use, and maintenance of abrasive wheels. The course follows Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines and includes assessments to ensure understanding.
How does this course help reduce the risk of accidents?
The course raises awareness of common hazards, such as wheel breakage or improper installation, and teaches employees how to choose the right wheel, perform safety checks, and follow best practices. This reduces the likelihood of accidents and injuries in the workplace.
