What is the CITB levy?
The CITB levy is a charge construction industry employers pay to help fund grants and training programmes that support skills development across the construction industry.
Employers registered with CITB can access funding to cover the costs of apprenticeships, short courses, and other training, making it easier to upskill their workforce and meet industry standards.
How CITB funding works
- To qualify, your organisation must be CITB levy registered.
- 70% of the course cost is paid by CITB, and 30% is paid by your company.
- The subsidy is capped at £15,000 per employer, per year.
